Jeremy Scott is in his 4th year as the head director of orchestras at Putnam City North High School where he has assisted in growing the program by adding a 3rd orchestra class back in the 2017-18 school year. Under his direction, the PC North Symphony Orchestra has earned their 4th consecutive Sweepstakes Award for receiving superior ratings at every OSSAA contest level offered in Oklahoma each year. Jeremy instructs 3 orchestras at PC North, assists with 7th and 8th grade orchestras at Hefner Middle School and teaches 4th and 5th grade elementary strings at Ralph Down Elementary School. Prior to PCN, Jeremy was the director of Bands and Orchestras at Belle Isle Middle School where they earned top ratings and was awarded best Overall Orchestra at the Texas Director's Choice Festival in 2015.
Jeremy resides in Oklahoma City with his wife Tara and two children Eli and Charlee who are both attending Putnam City Schools and hope to attend PC North High School one day.
Sara McKean is a recent graduate from Oklahoma City University. She received her Bachelor of Music Education degree in the spring of 2019.
During her time at OCU Sara served as the President of the university chapter of the Collegiate National Association for Music Education. She was a member of the Symphony Orchestra as a violinist under the baton of Jeffrey Grogan. Sara studied violin privately with Dr. Sophia Ro. Sara was also a member of the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority - Beta Omicron chapter. Sara has taught private lessons on violin and viola and was an instructor at El Sistema Oklahoma from 2016 to 2019.
Sara is now in her first year of teaching as the Assistant Director at Putnam City North High School. Sara also assists at Hefner Middle School, and instructs 4th and 5th grade elementary strings at Will Rogers Elementary School.
