Jeremy Scott
Jeremy Scott is in his 11th year of teaching and 8th year as the Director of Orchestras at Putnam City North High School where he has assisted in growing the program by adding a 3rd orchestra class back in the 2017-18 school year. Under his direction, the PC North Symphony Orchestra has earned their six Sweepstakes Awards and back to back outstanding achievement awards for two ensembles for receiving superior ratings at every OSSAA contest level offered in Oklahoma each year. He has taken the orchestra to perform all over the world in St. Louis, MO, San Antonio, TX, Boulder, CO and recently in the Cadogen Hall in London, England. Jeremy instructs two orchestras at PC North, assists with 7th and 8th grade orchestras at Hefner Middle School, and teaches 5th grade elementary strings at Ralph Down Elementary School. Prior to PCN, Jeremy was the director of Bands and Orchestras at Belle Isle Middle School where they earned top ratings and was awarded best Overall Orchestra at the Texas Director's Choice Festival in 2015.
Jeremy resides in Oklahoma City with his wife Tara and two children Eli and Charlee who are both attending Putnam City Schools and hope to attend PC North High School one day.
Brett Smith
Brett Smith is in his 6th year of teaching and 3rd year as the Assistant Director of Orchestras at Putnam City North High School. Brett is originally from East Texas and spent his childhood and teenage years there. After graduating high school, he moved to Oklahoma City to attend Southern Nazarene University where he graduated with a degree in vocal and instrumental music education. Brett teaches AP Music Theory and Strings I at PC North, assists with 6th grade orchestra at Hefner Middle School, and teaches 5th grade elementary strings at Will Rogers Elementary School and Harvest Hills Elementary School. Prior to PCN, Brett was the Choir Director and Assistant Orchestra Director at Monroney Middle School in Oklahoma and Instrumental Music Director at West Shore Christian Academy and General Music Teacher at Susquehanna Township Middle School in Pennsylvania.
Brett Smith resides in Oklahoma City with his wife Jessica and animals Nugget (pictured), Rowan, Raphael, and Shadow!
